The activities of the Institute are directed actions to develop its aims and objectives, and its typology is governed by the following article of the statutes:

Article 5. Activities

Amongst the activities to realise by the Institute of Valencian Studies the following will have high-priority interest: Cultivation of the Valencian Language through the study of its regional varieties without reduction of the literary unit; work sessions; trips to get to know the geographic characteristics, customs and all class of artistic and folkloric manifestations; seminaries and courses of spreading and conferences; projections, contests and acts of analogous character, publications etc….

The activities are destined to all the valencian society, within the scope of the Valencian Community. They are carried out by the different sections that compose the Institute. The main activities are: Cycles of conferences, courses of history and language, environmental Day’s journeys, Symposiums…
